Sunprime C-Lounge Hotel, located in Alanya and operating under an all-inclusive system, will now cover the dining expenses of guests who choose to eat at external restaurants. The initiative is set to expand, potentially including additional restaurants in the near future.

As the first hotel in Alanya to meet the third-phase criteria for the Sustainable Tourism Certificate, which must be completed by 2030, Sunprime C-Lounge Hotel has launched a remarkable program aimed at supporting local economies—a key aspect of sustainability.

According to a statement from the hotel, all-inclusive guests who visit Alanya’s city center can dine for free at the Mini Mutfak restaurant, with the bill being settled by the hotel. Guests will simply present a meal voucher provided by the hotel and enjoy their meal without having to pay.

Commenting on the initiative, Şükrü Cimrin, Board Member of Sunprime C-Lounge Hotel, said, “The concept of sustainability, which is critical to the future of global tourism, holds great significance for us. One of the key criteria of the first phase of the Sustainable Tourism Certificate is maximizing the social and economic benefits for local communities while minimizing negative impacts. As a hotel, we engage with more than 30 sectors for procurement before our guests even arrive, many of which include local businesses and producers. Once here, our guests often leave the resort for various activities such as tours, exploring historical and natural attractions, shopping, and enjoying the local lifestyle.”

Cimrin continued by stating that the hotel introduced this initiative to enhance guest services outside the resort and support local businesses. “Through this project, aimed at increasing the contribution of all-inclusive hotels to the local economy, we hope to draw more guests to Alanya’s center, offering them new experiences. Our partnership with Mini Mutfak will not only benefit local businesses but also give our guests the opportunity to explore our city. They can enjoy a selection of three set menus at Mini Mutfak, which offers fresh, hygienically prepared dishes from Anatolian cuisine, until 8 PM, and continue their city exploration afterward. The meal costs will be covered by our hotel.”

The project will not be limited to a single establishment

“We are going beyond merely recommending discounted venues; we are directly covering the dining expenses, thus expanding the scope of our services into the city through our partner businesses. Starting with Mini Mutfak, our next step will be to include other restaurants in this initiative, offering more free dining options to our guests by the summer of 2025. Guest feedback will play a vital role in shaping our future efforts. We hope this project will serve as a successful model for other hotels, maximizing the social benefits we can achieve.”

Cimrin emphasized that the primary criterion when selecting partner restaurants is maintaining minimum standards for products and services. "Our top priority is to ensure the high level of guest satisfaction we achieve within the hotel is maintained outside as well, so guests are pleased with the external dining options we offer or recommend," he concluded.
