The Turkish hospitality company Rixos currently has 11 hotels in Egypt with a total capacity of 7,000 rooms. Most of these hotels are located in Sharm El-Sheikh, Hurghada, and the northern coast of Egypt.

Erkan Yıldırım, the General Manager of Rixos hotels in Egypt, stated in the bulletin of the Association of Russian Tour Operators (ATOR) that the company would have at least 2,000 more hotel rooms in various regions of the country by the end of 2024. He mentioned that with the addition of rooms in Alexandria and the Mediterranean, the number of rooms in Egypt would reach 9,000. All new hotels will be built from scratch according to Rixos's strict standards. Yıldırım noted that Rixos plans to add six more hotels to its chain in Egypt in 2025. The new hotels will be located in the Sharm El-Sheikh and Alexandria regions. He indicated that by 2026, the number of Rixos hotels in Egypt could increase to 17, with a total room capacity reaching 12,000.

Rixos is currently working on an entirely innovative project, the massive Rixos Radamis hotel complex in Sharm El-Sheikh, which is expected to have 4,000 rooms. The construction of all hotels in this area will be completed by the end of 2025, with five buildings and 26 villas emerging in the first and second lines of the region. According to Erkan Yıldırım, the hotels in the Rixos Radamis complex could attract up to 1 million tourists to Sharm El-Sheikh annually, with these tourists likely to stay for a relatively long period (at least 10-12 nights).
