Hundreds of additional inspection personnel deployed

Inspection teams will conduct audits in tourist resorts, particularly in Antalya, Muğla, and Izmir. Hundreds of additional inspection personnel have been deployed to these areas. The field inspections will target nighttime entertainment venues, yacht tourism, beach clubs, hotels, and guesthouses. These inspections will also include restaurants and businesses on busy streets and thoroughfares, with particular attention to revenue assessments at nightclubs, restaurants, and beach clubs.

The Revenue Administration teams will also focus on short-term home rentals during these inspections. An analysis of summer rentals for 2023 is underway, with taxpayers suspected of earning income from these rentals being invited to explain their earnings and voluntarily comply with tax declarations. Additionally, those who have obtained permits for short-term home rentals from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, as well as properties that are vacant but have rental potential, will be included in the inspections.
