Attracting international hotel chains, Georgia is expanding its all-inclusive hotel format along the Black Sea coast. The country plans to open a large all-inclusive hotel complex next summer, aiming to rival Türkiye and Sochi in the all-inclusive segment.

According to a Forbes, Georgia's new all-inclusive tourism complex targets the high-income group rather than the lower and middle-income brackets.

Five hotels with a total of 1,055 rooms to open next summer

It is reported that five all-inclusive hotels, comprising a total of 1,055 rooms, are scheduled to open next year. All these hotels will operate under the Wyndham Grand Batumi Gonio brand, managed by the global hospitality giant Aimbridge Hospitality.

Targeting tourists with annual Incomes of $500,000 and above

The company, known as Interstate Hotels & Resorts in Russia, previously managed hotels in Sochi Olympic Village, Moscow, and St. Petersburg. However, it exited the Russian market in 2022 due to Western sanctions.

Georgia's new tourism hub aims to attract high-income tourists from Europe, Israel, Türkiye, and Arab countries. According to Forbes Georgia, the hotel complex is designed to cater to tourists with annual incomes of $500,000 and above.

What will the complex offer?

The tourism complex will feature 90 units, including 12 restaurants offering 24-hour dining, seven swimming pools, three SPA centers, a large aqua park, a physiotherapy clinic, a first-class sports center, children's areas, and business centers.
