Hosted by Yıldıray Karaer, Co-founder of Corendon Tourism Group, the luncheon brought together government officials, non-profit organizations, business partners, and members of the press. The meeting showcased the airline and tour operator's plans for the 2024 season in Alanya.

"We continue to grow rapidly and steadily," stated Yıldıray Karaer, discussing the growth journey of Corendon Tourism Group. "From the beginning, we have been committed to enhancing Alanya's tourism sector and developing this destination. The success behind the growth of tourism in Alanya involves the dedicated efforts and collaborations of the private sector, government bodies, and civil organizations."

Highlighting a significant milestone, Karaer added, "On April 4, 2012, we landed the first Boeing 737-800 passenger aircraft at Alanya-Gazipaşa Airport, marking a new era for the airport and introducing the first mid-body aircraft to Alanya. Corendon played a key role in the opening and operational launch of Alanya-Gazipaşa Airport. Alanya remains a crucial destination for our main source markets, the Netherlands and Belgium, attracting a diverse range of visitors from families to young people with its appealing holiday concepts."

"For the 2024 season, we are offering over 120,000 seats to Alanya," Karaer explained. "By planning more direct flights from various markets, we aim to more effectively leverage Alanya’s potential and continue supporting the growth of tourism in the region. Our first Alanya-Gazipaşa flight of the 2024 season departed from Amsterdam on April 2nd. We are providing this capacity through both direct flights operated by our airline and seats included in our tour operator’s package tours."

Yıldıray Karaer emphasized that Corendon Tourism Group, through both its tour operator and airline operations, is committed to ongoing support of the tourism industry in the region.
