Operating in Germany, Switzerland, and Austria, Bentour Reisen achieved remarkable success during the 2023-24 season. According to the latest fvw|TravelTalk dossier, Bentour Reisen recorded the highest revenue growth among 45 tour operators analyzed in German-speaking markets. The company’s revenue surged by 52%, reaching an impressive €211 million, making it the best-performing tour operator of the year.

The key factor behind Bentour Reisen’s success was its strategic focus on Türkiye, which experienced a record influx of visitors from Germany in the 2023/24 season. The company benefited from an increase in direct flights, an expanded product portfolio, and innovative services such as Quicktransfer. With these strategies in place, Bentour Reisen anticipates continued robust growth in 2025.

Top 10 Tour Operators Generate €24.9 Billion in Revenue

The industry leader, TUI, reported a 14.1% revenue increase in the three German-speaking markets, reaching €7.3 billion in the 2023-24 fiscal year. Dertour followed with a 15% growth and €4.35 billion in revenue, while Schauinsland Reisen and Aida Cruises each recorded a 13% increase, both generating €2.6 billion. Alltours posted a 16.4% rise, reaching €2.32 billion.

TUI Cruises secured the sixth position with a 12.2% revenue growth, totaling €2.05 billion. Hotelplan followed with a 2.1% increase, generating €1.89 billion. Meanwhile, ANEX Group posted an impressive 26.8% rise, reaching €720 million, Coral Travel/Ferien experienced a 31.7% increase with €670 million in revenue, and Phoenix Reisen rounded out the top ten with a 3.7% growth, totaling €420 million.
